In key stage 3 science, pupils carry out investigations and experiments, using scientific ideas and models to explain the world around them. They learn to evaluate evidence and to think of the positive and negative effects of scientific and technological developments on the environment, and in other contexts.
The national curriculum for key stage 3 science covers:
energy, electricity and forces
chemical and material behaviour
organisms, behaviour and health
the environment, Earth and the universe.
Here you can find advice and resources to help you become a good scientist.
